INTERPRETER TRACK

One of the tracks offered in our Deaf Ministry Program is the Christian Interpreter Training track.  Hearing students who want to work with the Deaf can learn ASL and have hands-on training in Deaf Ministry while learning the Bible at the same time.  These students will be required to take 40 courses and 8 labs in order to receive their Bachelor of Biblical studies degree.  Those on the Christian Interpreter track will take special classes focused on interpreting. Depending on the skill level of the student, classes may be taken with the Deaf students or with the hearing students. Students who do not know ASL or need improvement can take the morning ASL classes that will help them to level into the Christian Interpreter Training Program. Female students will be involved in the women's track program including the teaching labs and the male students will be involved in the preaching labs with the men. The following is a list of the track courses that will be taken by students in the Christian Interpreter Training track.
